1.-5. Today, I made croissants! I bought the butter and flour that Cooks Illustrated recommended several weeks ago and I've been waiting for the perfect day. Today was the perfect day. Ali provided the incentive to make them and we ate them together when she came over for a visit. Wish I had gotten a picture! Also, by the third picture, they were quite tough to roll out!
Also, planted some bulbs, spent some time with Bessie Dearest,and that evening, Mom and I attended the first Ladies Night Fellowship at the Poindexters. It was fun.

Oooh, fun! I've always wanted to make croissants, but always thought that they sounded like too much work. ;) Good for you! Were they everything that a croissant should be?
