Day 38

 

1. Smooch paints at a craft store with Chrisitne (I bought one to experiment with!)

2. Not pictured - Eggs, bacon and english muffins for breakfast, serious spring cleaning of my room (step 1 of ?), starting Bible Study up again, delightful conversations, admiring Christine's amazing art, more spring cleaning, my brain giving out at 8:30 'cause I'd done too much

1. Lots of pizza for the Superbowl party
2. Not pictured - Church, a nice lunch time with Natalie, visiting with the Paynes and Ayers, watching a great game (one of the best in a while - what a crazy last two minutes!) (although... still disappointed the 49ers didn't make it, argh.), catching up on some shows.

Day 29

1. Church with Emily and Family
2. A wonderful children's sermon 
3. The beach!
4. Driving from Santa Cruz to Half Moon Bay on 101
5. Heading home!
6. Not pictured: Picnic lunch at Natural Bridges State Park, seeing four monarchs at the monarch grove (it was too warm for them to cluster), walking along the stone ledge between the cliff and the ocean, flying home through Eugene, the most amazing light/rain show on the 20 minute plane ride from Eugene to Portland

Day 28

1. Catching up with Melinda (friend) at Esther's German bakery
2. Cool stairway
3. Shopping around Los Altos with Grandma 
4. 5. 6. & 7. Cliff Drive at Sunset in Santa Cruz
8. Playing the Snail Game with my little relatives and cousin-in-law, Dan
9. Bedtime for Molly!

Not pictured - a lovely lunch with Jennie & Paul (my cousin & her husband), packing up, visiting the PEO thrift store with Grandma, driving to Santa Cruz, soaking up little kid cuteness, hanging out with Emily and Dan after the kiddos had gone to bed, discussing Dan's most recent press releases (He's pretty famous ;) ), finishing off the day with a Jeeves & Wooster

Day 34

 

1. Basketball tonight: Jacob's game (he's the short one kind of in the center)

2. Not pictured: homeschooling, a walk down the driveway with no coat 'cause it was so warm, visiting Exodus, bringing Mom home!, errands in Molalla

Days 30-33

1. A mural on the way to OHSU
2. Lunch in the cafeteria
3. Impressive hospital cooking! The flan was delicious
4. Hanging out with Mom 
5. Not pictured: A long week consisting of driving a lot, too and from, a patient and brave mom undergoing observation, the amazing views of the mountains and Portland from OHSU, being filled with thankfulness that we aren't there for anything life threatening

Day 27

1. Out to pastries/German breakfast with Emily and the kiddos
2. Ella and Stephen sleeping on our drive to visit Dana
3. Dana's beautiful home with a built in fish tank
4. Wonderful middle eastern cooking - Tabuleh, stuffed squash, eggplant and grapeleaves, almond cookies
5. At the school park with Winnis, Ella and Stephen
6. Not pictured - visitng a Japan Daiso store (awesome), Beth and Dana comparing notes on living in/near the Middle East and speaking arabic, staying up late looking at pictures of Beth's adventures overseas
