Day 129

1. At the Oregon Zoo with John! (And the rest of his family and the Ayers and the Dahlins, and my family... )
2. John and Anna in the petting zoo. Oh the irony of walking into a petting zoo when you live on a farm. I didn't tell them that our goat had died a month ago....
3. Anna is a pro at petting goats, Molly wasn't so sure...

5. Me, Emily & Mom - Can you tell we're related? Mom just needed her "bug" glasses on!
6. A Lions, Tigers and Bears, oh my! The lions and bears were very fun to watch, the tigers were just sleeping...
7. An exhausted Matthew on the shuttle ride back to the car.

Mostly just enjoying the Fabryckys (Emily's my cousin) and enjoying the zoo, worrying for an hour that I had lost my wallet on the shuttle when all the time it was in the lunch knapsack, which is funny as neither Andrew who was holding the knapsack the whole time or I remember me putting it in there! Just thankful that it was there. :) The zoo people were really nice about looking for it though. 

Day 127

1. Playing croquet with way too many Sams. So confusing. But super fun!
2. Oohing and awing over Valerie's amazing handiwork. She has seriously cool embroidery skills. 
3. What else? Church, of course. :) The Fabrycky's visiting! And a Deacon Dinner...

Day 112

1. Bridal shower for Rebekah... amazing food and a lovely time.

3. Rebekah, Donna (her mom) and I planning out wedding decorations

Day 103

1. Feeding the calves twice a day.

Day 99 Easter!

1. Breakfast centerpiece

4. The best cooconut cake I've ever had! The chocolate was pretty darn good too...

Day 97

1. Cleaning up the porch now that the bantams have a new home and putting in a little twig fence to keep Tucker the dog from walking across the flower bed to get to the porch.
2. Jacob working hard to clean the leaves out of the patio area
3. Crepes!
4. What else- homeschooling, working outside in the sunshine, ending the day with Psych.

Day 96

1. Making Grandma's pancake recipe with Jacob
2. Touring a local old house with Amanda
3. Grandma Liz's (an adopted Grandma) Daisy Apron. I've been holding onto it for sentimental reasons (it's too small for me), but when Amanda saw it and loved it, I decided it was time for it to find a new home. :)
4. What else - Jacob doing well in math, homemade banana liqueur (yum!), having Amanda and Joshua&Lucy over

Day 95

1. Jacob puts his finishing spices on dinner for tonight
2. Pumping up a flat tire
3. Five Guys while waiting for our flat tire to get fixed

5. What else - Not much, but here's Mom's facebook status for more about 2&3. :)

Set out on errands today. We stopped for gas where it was pointed out that one tire was really low so we then proceeded to a tire factory store. Since it was past lunchtime we decided to take a walk to a Five Guys hamburger joint that we had just passed. Two miles later of slogging through icy rain and strong wind blowing stinging pellets of water into our faces, we finally reached our destination. By the time we had finished eating we were only halfway thawed out but being the courageous and plucky type we decided to brave the weather and head back. Thankfully the wind and rain had abated. The return trip much to our surprise was only about 1/2 a mile long.
